Epley Maneuver

We treat BPPV or Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, through the application of the Epley maneuver. The Epley’s maneuver works by allowing free floating particles from the affected semicircular canal to be relocated, using gravity, back into the utricle, where they can no longer stimulate the cupula, therefore relieving the patient (you) of bothersome vertigo.

My Process

You have an issue, you have reached out to us to make an appointment, what happens next?

Step 1

The Meetup-Let’s get to know one another. Find out exactly how your problem started and how it is affecting you and your body on a daily basis. This may include a range of motion, orthopedic tests, palpation, as well as other physical techniques.  It also includes listening, me to you, and using many years of experience to take us to

Step 2

The Game Plan. Together we are going to come with a care plan that meets the needs of your body and your wallet.  What does this include? Well, it includes the large toolbox of techniques that I have developed over many years of working with clients who have similar issues to what you have going on.

Step 3

The Follow Through- Response to care is different for everyone, and everyone responds to care on a different timeline.  What I can tell you is that I want to get you out of pain as quickly and efficiently as possible.  This includes homework (exercises, stretches, changes to ADL’s) to ensure that what we do in the office translates to your life space.
